No pictures for this post. We are at my parents house for a few weeks while Brian is doing a rotation in Boise. So far its been a lot of fun the boys have been good other than waking up crazy early. Zane is loving seeing his papa and mama everyday, and Tyler is just enjoying having something new to do. We sure miss daddy but we'll get to see him this weekend!!

Cute kids!

I hate to brag but I'm going to anyway. My sister-in-law Jennifer took these pictures of my boys and not only did she do a great job..... but I think they are crazy cute. Its a rare day that Tyler will take his hat and sunglasses off when the sun is still in the sky. I think I have the cutest little boys any mother could ever have. And I recommend Jennifer to anyone who wants to get their kids pictures taken (she has a studio)!!!!

Happy Birthday Brian
Here are just a few things about Brian that we love and enjoy:
He's a great husband and father.
He is working very hard at his schooling to become a doctor and provide for his family.
He has a great sense of humor and loves to tease anyone he thinks he can get away with
He's smart, kind, loving, sweet, thoughtful, playful, and a great singer
He loves to play Rock Band on his brother-in-laws Wii
He likes to run, play golf, disc golf, swim, play with the kids, and take me out on dates (which I like too)
I'm so grateful I met this man at college and he tricked me into going out with him. Without him my life would not be the same or complete. He's everything I could ever want and more!
I love you Brian!!!

Tyler's Day
Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is Tyler's 4th birthday!!! When he woke up this morning he had forgotten what today was. After he heard his name on the radio for having a birthday he got really excited and realized he was now 4. He was so understanding to wait until 11AM for his dad to get home to open presents. He loves star wars so he got a few star wars guys and a buzz lightyear spaceship. His favorite was a new t-shirt with Yoda on it.
I'm not a cake expert by any means but I tried to decorate his cake with a picture of Yoda and I put a few toys on it as well. He then got to go have lunch at Wingers and shared a Asphalt pie with all of us. (He's such a sweet boy) He says that so far this has been a great birthday.
July 4th
Ok, so its been a while but this is what we did for the 4th. This year we stayed in Idaho Falls and went to the parade at 9 in the morning. It was so hot already it was crazy but hte kids had fun and got a lot of candy. Tyler wanted to save all the candy and Zane wanted to eat every piece he picked up.
I think the boys got tired towards the end but got really excited again when some bikers came and did tricks on a ramp in front of them.
After the parade we went home to try to catch a nap before going over to my brother Derek's house for a bbq. They just got a trampoline and the kids were in seventh heaven. Whats better than a tramp and water? So after the picnic we let the kids play until the were tired and loaded them in the car to go see the fireworks. We set up post over by the airport, we had a good view and weren't too crowded by people. Tyler was so excited to see the fireworks and then they started and he said they were too loud and bright. He made it through the show but fell asleep the second we strapped him into the car. Zane took a little nap before the fireworks and got up to see the noise and then went back to bed. They had a great time and Brian had the whole day off to spend the day with us. No babies for him on the 4th.
My brother also got the guitar hero version for the Wii ( I don't know my game terminology)It's pretty much Brian's favorite thing to do in the whole world now. He and my brother can play for hours.

Update
Ok, so its been awhile since the last post so I thought I would give you an update on whats going on.
Brian is in the middle of his OB/Gyn rotation and is working with the busiest doctor in town. So we haven't seen him much the past two weeks. Babies are coming into the world at a crazy pace and Brian gets to deliver about two to three a day sometimes more. He really likes the OB part of the rotation but could go without the Gyn. He loves to see all the cute little babies that are being born and the excitement in the parents faces when the new little person enters the world. (Most enter in the middle of the night, the little buggers!). Anyway he really likes the doctor and the rotation but lucky for me he doesn't want to go in that direction. He wants to do family practice.
Tyler and Zane are keeping mom plenty busy running around all day. They are really starting to get along well although they have their moments. Zane is talking up a storm everyday and seems to be growing like a weed. Tyler is trying his mothers patience but what can I say he is four. I think he misses his daddy, he's not usually this difficult. There are days they don't even see their daddy before they go to bed and I think its hard on them.
The pregnancy update: Things are getting a lot better. The headaches are gone and for the most part so is the nausea and vomiting though you never really know what will stay down. The tummy is getting bigger and the baby is VERY active in the belly. Tyler likes to feel the baby kick his hand. With the days getting hotter we try to go out early and stay out of the heat because is makes me sick. But overall things are better than they were a few weeks ago.
We get to stay in Idaho Falls for the 4th and hopefully I will remember to take my camera and have new pictures to post.

Crazy days.....
So today is the 11th of June and who wouldn't just love to go outside and play in the snow! We woke up to a small inch of snow that didn't stay long but not because the weather didn't try. It snowed off and on all day long. BUT I can say that I am grateful that we don't live in Iowa right now. Des Moines doesn't seem as bad as Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, but the threat is still there. I hope all our friends are safe and don't have any serious problems in the future. Our prayers go out to our fellow Iowans.
So since the snow was falling, we were forced to stay in for a while today and you never know what kids will say. Zane and I were tickling Tyler when in a desperate attempt to get away, he says "Stop mommy! You'll hurt the baby in my tummy!" It seems that I say "Don't jump on my belly, you'll hurt the baby" alot because that seems to be the excuse to get out of situations. When I asked what he was having he said was having a boy and he was going to name the baby Corn Man. Zane not wanting to be left out of the conversation said, "Yeah sure."
So crazy days, crazy weather, and crazy kids. What can ya do? Just enjoy the moment.
