The month is only half over but we have been busy. It's a first I know I think we have the most boring life full of nothing but snot and drool. SO here goes! We FINALLY got a new car! We have bene waiting and saving for a long time. We were previously stuffed into a ford taurus which was a great car but a little tight with car seats and boosters. So here is our new but already dirty car debut! Its a 2006 Kia Sedona. We love it. It runs smooth and quietly ( I didn't realize how noisy my car was) and best of all there is plenty of room. I didn't think I would love a mini van but the room and ease of loading kids in and out are winning me over. Happy Birthday to me!My birthday went great Brian's paretns came up for the day and we had lunch and then took the bowling. They LOVED it. Bowling on the Wii is way easier according to Tyler but I think they are hooked (I forgot my camera of course). Kate spent most of the weekend very sick with colds, coughs, and croup. Lucky for me my husband can now call in a prescriptions for me sicne the kids only get sick on the weekends. Kate is better now and has successfully given the colds to the rest of us. Monday night my parents came up and we had dinner together before they went home. Kaysie stole them for most of the weekend so I got the leftovers but I will take what I can get.
The next thing I have been doing is sewing. Not my favorite thing but the kids have been begging for capes. So with the help from a tutorial from Puking Pastilles I was able to create these reversible capes for Tyler and Zane. I think they turned out pretty good for not being a great sewing lady. Kate will be getting one soon as well but I didn't have that much time last night.
And last but not least I have been having fun dressing up Kate in her tutu, shiny shoes, and wings. She loves to walk around all dressed up especially with her shiny shoes. What can I say she's cute!
