Big bad kittens

Sure these may look like sute little innocent kittys but to my two and a half year old, these are mean scary critters. Zane is scared of cats. Not just a little but to the upmost extreme. A cat brushed his leg last saturday, scared him to death (he didn't see it coming) and every night since then we have had to deal with cats coming to eat him. We haven't slept in nights. We have tried everything to convince him that there are no cats. We have now come to telling him that Brian is allergic to cats (which he is) and that we can't have cats in our house. We even asked him if he let the cats in the house. He'll say no I don't like cats and within minutes he's screaming again, terrified of the big bad kitty.
Anyone that has any experience in phobias with little kids, I would love some suggestions or advice. We are tired and will try anything.

I knew a family that had a similiar problem. They got some of those rope lights and put them around the kid's door and told him it was a force field that monsters couldn't pass by. The kid bought it and went to sleep. The lights were blue so the room still stayed pretty dark at night for sleeping purposes.

You can always use a lavender scented spray (very relaxing) and tell them that it is "no kitty spray." I've had that work for monster spray and my son loved it.

Bath and Body Works has some great lavender scented sheet spray that's not too irritating. :)

Unfortunately we did not get any more pics and they have taken it off the MLS so no more pics. WHat happend with your house??? Did you get it?
We did go out to look, we just got back yesterday. we spent two (12 hour) days looking at houses. We don't close until the 26 of May so we still need the inspection and appraisal done but if all goes well we move in on June 6th. Later than we wanted but they didn't want to move until the beginning of July, so we had to work with that.
Good luck with the cat thing. I think he can sense, as can I, that cats are really just evil little creature plotting against us. Smart kid!Ever since Disneyland CLara is a bit afraid of the dark, not too much of a problem but still a problem.
