Bears Here We Come

So Saturday was a great day to take a little visit to Bear World. Bear World is just outside of Rexburg. Its a little park that you can drive through and see elk, deer, and bears roaming free. As you drive throught the park they tell you to keep your windows rolled up, don't stop, and don't feed the bears!

At first the boys weren't sure what to think of the big huge animals walking around outside their car window. Zane was scared at first, but then seemed to think the bears were cute! He would point to a bear and say "Oh cute!". Tyler thought the bears were really bug and neat. After we drove throught the park we signed up for the tour where you get to feed the bears and have them come up to the truck. It was really neat! The kids loved to feed the bears and the bears have learned that if they stand on their back feet and wave, that people will throw them food. At the end of the tour Tyler turned to me and said " The bears don't growl, they just wave."

The fun was far from over after that, we got to pet a baby bear, go to a petting zoo, and the funnest of all for the boys..... rides! They loved going to the roller coaster, the bumpy car ride, and the train to name a few. The rides were just the right size for small children and they just couldn't get enough. They went from ride to ride all day until we finally decided it was time to go. It was quite the fight to get them to the car but as soon as we got going they crashed (so did mommy!).

If you've never been to Bear World, I totally recommend taking kids, they will love it.!
