Our "hopefully" new house

Here is the outside of our "hopefully" new house. The paperwork is still in hte works but if all goes well this will be our first house purchase. It has four bedrooms, two family rooms, and a nice kitchen, the backyard is huge and beautiful and we love it.

Soccer starts

Tyler just started his first week of soccer. This is the first time we have put him in any kind of organized sport. Either there hasn't been a chance or we've been on the move. He was very excited to play. He started off with a little practice of sorts, and then they played a little game with one of the other teams. He liked the practice part because he got hte ball more often but when he was told to go get the ball during the game he got really mad and threw a fit because the kids weren't letting him get a kick in. We had to explain that that is how soccer works and if he wanted to kick the ball he had to go get it. After that things got better and he had a lot of fun.

We got 5.5 inches of snow today, its April 3rd for crying out loud. I am so tired of the snow and cold. The weather around here is so crazy, it makes me want to go to Arizona or Hawaii. Yesterday we got the priveledge of having Kaysie and Wyatt stay with us. We were their last stop on their way back home from spring break. It was fun to have them here, we don't usually get overnight visitors and so that was fun. I am really looking forward to having a bigger place and more foot room. We have a house that we want to make an offer on and hopefully if everything goes well, we'll get it. I'll post pictures when we know for sure if the house is ours.

Last weekend we went to Wendell to visit my parents, now htis weekend they are coming up this way to visit us. Its always fun to see them, we get so busy it gets hard to get down to the grandparents. The kids love spending time with grandmas and grandpas. I love it because I usually get a little extra sleep and help. Thanks mom and dad!!!!

Brian and I have also enrolled ourselves in a free 21 day fitness study where we get to workout with personal trainers. Every muscle in my body has hurt this week and I'm sure it will stay that way for a few weeks, its nice to get out and get a good sweat going. I hope I can keep it up and start feeling better. So far so good.

Just something to think about :)

Ok so I have been trying the get ahold of the whole coupon thing. I've been looking at peoples blogs and visiting various websites and the things people buy is amazing. I have to give a hand to the people that get things they NEED and get a good deal. BUT, I was looking a a blog and this lady was showing pictures of things she had gotten for a great deal. Some of the things included toilet paper, razors, food, but the things that confused me was the 13 boxes of Tucks pads and the 20 thats right 20 boxes of KY. I understand that these things are a necessity at times, but do you really need to spend your money on things such as these? Just becasue you have the coupon doesn't really mean you have to buy a year supply. The food items make more sense to me and a few of the personal and paper items but really? Really?
Just something to think about.

Is it spring yet?

I am so hungry for spring I can't even begin to tell you. I am tired of the snow, the cold, the blah. I need some green, some sun, and some warmth. The kids are sick again and I am stir crazy. I don't like taking them out when they are sick because they are extra grumpy and I don't like to get others sick. It's a HUGE pet peve of mine when people bring their kids to church (mostly nursury) because they need a break or don't want to find a sub. The only thing that comes out of it is everyone else's kids get sick. Any whooooo.....
We are still house hunting, nothing has really screamed out at us yet, hopefully within the next month or so we'll find something. The wholr house hunting thing is very stressful and I am a high stress person, so the less I can think about it the better for everyone.

New pictures

So my sister in law is at it again and has once again taken great pictures of Kate. She's four months old in these pictures (she's now 5 months). I'm tellin you guys, my sister in law takes great pictures, she has a small studio in her basement and loves to take pictures. I can't believe how quickly babies grow. I still remember bringing her home and giving birth. I wish she'd stay small a little longer.

House hunting ugh!

We have been house hunting for a couple of weeks and ugh! Nothing ever looks the same in pictures and its hard to know when to give a little and when to be firm. So far no luck, but hopefully things will get better.
