Christmas Party

So Saturday was our ward Christmas party. The theme this year was Christmas in Zarahemla, it was neat because prophets of old came and told stories of the coming of Christ, the kids got to make projects and collect special stones, and as always the dinner was great. They asked everuone to dress up in biblical times (hence the costumes) and I just have to say, I wasn't planning on doing much because the kids don't usually like to dress up but Brian gets really excited about things like this and he actually came up with all the costumes and made them himself! Isn't he wonderful! Brian and I were asked to be Mary and JOseph and Kate was baby Jesus. She slept through the whole thing and was just precious! The boys LOVE Star Wars and lucky for us they thought their costumes were Jedi costumes so they were excited to go.

This week has been great Brian has been home finally for the whole week and we are loving having him home. He has been traveling a lot to interviews for residency. His top choice is Pocatello followed by Boise, Provo, and maybe Wyoming. He still has an interview in Washington. He is going into Family Practice. Good news is he will graduate from medical school in May!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited to be moving on to a new section of life for us.
I'm posting pictures of Kate mostly for the family that reads the blog but also because she's so stinkin cute!

Merry Christmas to the Muirs!! So- the selfish side of me wants Brian to match in Yakima . . . we actually really love it here . . . but most likely he will get one of his other top choices! Good luck with all of that - it is so exciting to finally get a pay check and be moving on.
